School Uniform
Daily School Uniform
- Grey skirt, grey trousers or grey pinafore dress
- White shirt, white blouse or white polo shirt
- Year 1 - 6: Bierton tie (clip on or elasticated)
- V-neck Bierton jumper or cardigan
- Black low-heeled shoes (see the diagram in the footwear section below)
- Coats or jackets should be plain
(Jeans / leggings, sportswear, fashion items or trainers are not permitted as part of school uniform)
Summer Term Uniform
From the Summer Term, children may wear:
- Blue and white summer dresses
- Grey shorts or grey skirt
- Polo shirt
- Bierton tie (clip on or elasticated)
Footwear
For health and safety reasons, we do not allow children to wear shoes with platform soles or high heels. All children are required to wear plain black shoes without logos as stated in the uniform list. If boots are worn these should also be plain black. If boots are large and prevent children from sitting comfortably on the floor they may be asked to change into their PE shoes whilst inside the school building.
PE Uniform
- Black shorts, black leggings or plain black tracksuit bottoms
- Trainers all year round and black plimsolls for indoor PE
- Blue Bierton t-shirt
- Navy Blue Bierton PE Hoodie
Year 4 Swimming
All children in Year 4 will swim as part of their PE curriculum and require:
- Girls: one-piece swimming costume
- Boys: trunks (not shorts)
- Swimming hat
Forest School (Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2)
- Black leggings, tracksuit or jogging bottoms
- School PE hoodie
- School PE t-shirt
- Trainers
- Puddle suit or waterproofs in a separate bag
- Pair of wellies (to remain in school)
Jewellery, Hair Ornaments, Make-Up and Nail Varnish
Pupils may wear a watch (with no sound effects, cameras or games) and may wear one pair of small, stud earrings which must be worn in the lower ear lobe. All studs must be removed for PE by the pupil or taken out at home. Studs earrings that cannot be removed by the pupil for PE lessons will be covered with a plaster or tape. Please note that the school will be unable to take any responsibility for any watches or jewellery that are lost. Please also note: teachers are not permitted to remove earrings.
Hairbands, ribbons/bows or ‘scrunchies’ should be blue or blue/white to match our uniform. Hairbands should not have large flowers or other decoration attached.
Make-up and nail varnish should not be worn to school.
Extreme hairstyles are not appropriate for school. The use of styling products should be kept to a minimum and children should not have decorative patterns cut into their hair or have hair coloured or dyed.
